LOUISE WILLIAMS studied music and drama at Brunel University, with flute and singing as her specialities. After singing with a variety of local groups, she joined the BBC Symphony Chorus in 1995, becoming secretary for 3 years. During that time, she performed with a range of international conductors and orchestras both at home and abroad, and was a featured soloist in a concert of music by Carl Rutti broadcast on Radio 3. Her efforts were rewarded by being made an Honorary Member in 2004. |

Having now achieved her long held ambition by qualifying as a teacher in March 2004, she has now set her sights firmly on encouraging and enthusing children in her first love, music. Currently she is Deputy Conductor of the North-East Hampshire Young Singers and established the flute ensembles, ‘Flute Salad’ and ‘Fresh Flute Salad’ with the invaluable help of her accordion-playing partner, Matthew. |

Oh yes, most importantly, she has a cat called Boo and her favourite colour is purple! |
